Resorts World Hudson Valley looks to open its doors in the Summer of 2022, at the Newburgh Mall.
The Resorts World Casino organization currently operates out of two locations: the Catskills and New York City.
Meghan Taylor, vice president of Government Affairs and Public Relations for Genting Americas Inc, which operates the Resorts World Casinos, said the plan is going forward in collaboration with the Town of Newburgh. Taylor said that for the Catskills location, the site attracts residents from Orange County, as far south as Westchester County, and as far north as Columbia and Greene Counties. Other residents from Dutchess County, as well, also come to the Catskills location.
For this specific project, Taylor discussed the timeline for the mall going forward.
