RESORTS WORLD JOINS HABITAT FOR HUMANITY OF GREATER NEWBURGH FOR DAY OF ACTION

Representatives Resorts World Hudson Valley (RWHV), New York State’s newest casino, this week joined Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newburgh for a day of action – representing the facility’s commitment to its neighbors in Orange County.

“Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newburgh has done phenomenal work to improve access to homes here in Orange County,” said Meghan Taylor, SVP Government Affairs & Public Relations, Genting New York. “Resorts World is honored to support them throughout the year, not only financially but with our time. Our team was honored to take part in this work to help our neighbors reclaim their lives in a new home, and to work side by side with the amazing people who make Habitat Humanity so special.”

The Resorts World Team helped carry out work at 511 South Street and 41 E. Parmenter Street, which will provide new homes to qualified applicants. Resorts World regularly takes part in events with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newburgh, reflecting a greater partnership to grow the communities the company serves.

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newburgh is among the more than 300 organizations that have benefitted from RW Gives, the philanthropic arm of Resorts World, since it launched in 2011. Over that time, RW Gives has donated more than $5 million to community organizations from Sullivan County to New York City.
