BaseCamp is an R&B group based out of Poughkeepsie, New York (U.S.A.) that has been together for 16 solid years. Although the group is a band (per se), BaseCamp views themselves as an R&B/Soul Experience, bringing back the great soulful sounds of the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and today’s R&B music.

Billy Badd, the leader of “The Experience,” is a producer, musician, singer/songwriter, and engineer who decided one day to form “The thing that has been missing in live entertainment around the Hudson Valley for way too long!” — that being REAL R&B/Soul music. All other genres of music are completely covered in the area except R&B/Soul music. “Enter BaseCamp!”
