The casino operators who run Resorts World Catskills in Sullivan County plan to open a new gambling hall with 1,300 video gaming machines in part of the Newburgh Mall. That move would position what could be a major player in the gaming industry at the nexus of two interstate highways.
The new operation would employ 200 to 225 full-time workers. Roughly 200 construction workers would labor on the $32 million project to turn a 90,000-square-foot section of the indoor mall into Resorts World Hudson Valley.
